Copper to aluminum project

Client in Holmdel recently called because they smelled fire and the breaker had tripped and would not reset. Upon inspection of the house we located a receptacle that had caught fire because the wiring was aluminum. Upon further investigation we determined that the entire house was wired in aluminum conductors and we recommended that all the devices be pigtailed with copper

Conductors so this wouldn’t happen again.
